John's CD

This CD was made for the service and has some of John's nicest songs, especially the title track written for his wife Mirza for their wedding.

Welcome to our site for John, family and friends

We have just put up the site with photos, CD and links for us all to keep John in our hearts and keep track of our family and friends. We will add a few videos shortly too. There is also lastest news about concerts by West Valley Jazz (see below).

Please add to the discussion and stories in the Stories page and hear the latest from Mirza (newest entry about some weird stuff) at her Weblog page. If you have any suggestions for the site please email us, and thanks for your friendship and love!

Happy Holidays for 2005/2006
Thanks to all for the support and we're thankful for what we have.
Here are some holiday pics and a desciption from Debbie.
You can right-click and save the images to see them at their full size.

I have a hard time figuring out exactly when these were taken, so the years may be off by as much as 2 years. 1963 - look at the huge smile on John!
He was such a happy little kid! 1964 - OK, he wasn't always happy. And why is it that boys' clothes and hair styles stand the test of time better than girls'?
Not fair. 1967 - he was always warmer than everybody else. Always driving Mom crazy wearing shorts when she thought he should be in long pants and sweaters. Notice good little David in the proper attire! (On another note, we have pictures of our son, Jay, at that same age, standing and looking exactly like that.
Some uncanny similarities between the two.) 1969 - David and John with John's new Hot Wheels thingy. You built the track, then fed the car through the building, which had some sort of motorized accelerator. The car would go flying out the other side and do a loop-the-loop on the track. Sometimes they left off part of the loop and just let the car go flying.
Note our cat, Midnight, in the background, completely ignoring the noise and focusing his attention on the tinsel. Life is good when you're a cat.
Merry Christmas!
